Meet the owner

Stacey Del Valle

Stacey trained as a competitive dancer for 15 years at Pointe Counterpointe Dance Center in Garden City, Michigan. During her dance career, she held numerous titles, including Teen Miss Dance of Michigan and Miss Dance of Michigan through the Dance Masters of America Organization. She was also a stage back-up dancer for Jesse McCartney and was a Vegas finalist for So You Think You Can Dance Season 9.  

 

She attended Michigan State University where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Athletic Training and Kinesiology and was a member of the MSU Dance Team. 

 

She then proceeded to earn a master’s degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University where she worked as an athletic trainer for Dance, Cheerleading and Track and Field and conducted her thesis research on injury prevention in youth ballet dancers. 

 

Stacey worked at MSU Sports Medicine as an athletic trainer for 5 years and also served as the assistant coach of the MSU Dance Team from 2019-2023, prior to opening the studio. She has also served as adjunct faculty for the MSU Department of Theatre and is a Dance Masters of America certified instructor in ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics. She is an active member of Dance Masters of Michigan, Chapter 4. She is also a regional competition judge for Applause Talent and has 15 years of experience as a dance instructor.

Alexis hudy

Alexis has been teaching for 10 years. Her favorite styles are hip hop, lyrical and contemporary and she has won numerous choreography awards for her dances. Dance is her number one passion and she has been dancing since she was two years old. She loves sharing her knowledge of dance with the younger generation. She prides herself on having a fun personality with a firm instructing style.

Amy has been teaching both recreational and competitive tap to ages 5 through adult for 19 years. She has earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in music education and has taught elementary general music for just under a decade, as well as early childhood music for 6 years at the MSU Community Music School. She recently taught the DAN 351- Tap Dance Technique 1 class through the Theatre Department at MSU for the 2022 fall semester. 

bella miller

Bella is an accomplished competitive dancer and has won numerous awards. She is excited to share her choreography and technique expertise with our dancers as she transition into a dance education role under her mentor and teacher of 10 years, Stacey Del Valle. 

Gage clark

Gage has been dancing since a young age, starting in his family owned studio. He has been teaching for more than 15 years and competes in ballroom professionally. He has world and nationally ranked students. Proficient in almost all partner dances, he can teach you everything from Waltz to Hustle!
